Anders Sandberg has posted some great hazard stickers for plausible tomorrows. They're conceptual but eminently relevant. (I wonder if my car qualifies as an "existential threat" . . .)

Frankly, I thought most of the symbols were pretty counterintuitive. What a hazard symbol stands for should be as "transparent" as possible and most of these are anything but.

Favorite example: The soccer ball. I know this is supposed to represent a "buckyball" carbon molecule but looking at it inevitably (I suppose) brought the following caption to mind:

WARNING! SOCCER RIOT IN PROGRESS
