So one in eight americans spends 30 hours a week online.

According to A. C. Nielsen, the *average* American watches 28 hours of television a week.

Which is the bigger addiction? Which has a more adverse impact on relationships?

The internet is interactive and challenging, and can help build contacts with people.

I'm comfortable with my internet use :-)
