NASA discovered a worrisome gouge on Endeavour's belly soon after the shuttle docked with the international space station Friday, possibly caused by ice that broke off the fuel tank a minute after liftoff.

The only conclusion that makes sense to me is that NASA just plans to keep flying these decrepit shuttles until they all explode or disintegrate mid-flight.
The astronauts aboard are playing a game of Russian roulette that they couldn't possibly have foreseen when they started astronaut training. It's shameful.
