Interestingly, my girlfriend exhibits some symptoms of synesthesia from time to time. It leads to some very strange conversations sometimes(although by this point I've figured out what all the "blendings" mean), such as this fairly common one:

"What do you want for dinner tonight?"

"How about something with red flavor?"

She'd actually never heard the term until she met me and I told her what it was.

When they were handing out the brains, I asked for a photographic memory and got a pornographic memory instead!

So, W.M., does that mean you suffer from "Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS)"? ;o)

katie -- And instead of drawing aerial views of London from memory like the autistic savant in the video, I draw er, well....

PSAS -- Isn't that from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Lecher Society? (D&SM ALS, heh!)

Or at least the ability to switch it on and off.
