Mildly interesting, but she claims that she reads no poetry, and yet has a Yeats poem on her site?
Now she must have glanced at the poem in order to post it, therefore the statement “I read no poetry” has to be false!
I don’t know too much about geniuses Mac, but I do know that they are a pretty honest bunch, and not prone to misstatements such as this.
And then she makes the claim, “I will perish”
Well, duh?!
So will every body else, some Einstein.
On this one I do believe we have a bit of a disagreement Mac, you say genius, I say a girl who really needs to keep up with her meds.
Mac, you say genius, I say a girl who really needs to keep up with her meds.
I think meds may be part of her "problem"!
Seriously, gerald, take some time and look through her galleries. You can't just take the text on somebody's home page at face value, I don't think. (Heard of irony?) I spent about an hour last night doing this. To say I was "impressed" with her art kind of misses the point. It seems to me that she definitely has something real to convey and conveys it with extreme force and craft. What she is doing strikes me as the photographic equivalent of Performance Art, with the interesting added technique of sometimes doing a photo first, and then drawing the photograph.
First rate art, very well done, still sickly thou...
