It certainly looks to me like the Beagle 2 has been found.

Anxiety Base here. The Beagle has (crash) landed. (To paraphrase and earlier, more successful landing.)

It also strikes me that the logic being applied to possible Martian artificiality stemming from a known human source might also be applied to other objects as well.... I noted that symmetry figures as a major argument that these are pix of Beagle. Hmmmmm....

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Why not apply some of this stringent analytical effort to some *other* oddities?

In any event, the MRO should clear up the probable Beagle 2 site beyond any doubt.
