Over 100 lakes in Alaska have disappeared. Just ponds, most of them, but gone naetheless. Permafrost melted, and they simply drained away. What ever's happening sure is happening; how can people deny that? Folks believe what they want to believe, I suppose. What ever's most convenient to their personal reality, I'd guess.

Mars seems like it might be warming, too ....

There were falls on farms recovering from drought in New South Wales, on the national parliament in Canberra and in the island state of Tasmania.

The cold front could reach as far north as the tropical state of Queensland.

But forecasters said it was unlikely to snow anywhere on Thursday except for on mountain ranges in southern states.

The conditions were caused by cold air drifting north from Antarctica."... Article continues.

And "Kirpotin" is an anagram of "I, Kripton" ("Krypton" spelled with an "i").
