Have you ever been in a bookstore and, from the corner of your eye, seen a cover that you thought was a hologram? So you turn your head to make sure -- left, right, up, down -- and finally, if you still don't know, actually pick the book up and start flexing the cover . . . and it turns out it's not a hologram at all? Have you noticed that people tend to give you odd looks while you're doing this?
